Las Vegas, Nevada – Temperatures across the Las Vegas area are expected to steadily warm through the weekend and into next week, with afternoon highs climbing above normal as early as Monday.
According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Saturday will begin the warming trend with a forecast high near 55 degrees, followed by upper 50s on Sunday. By Monday, highs are expected to reach around 60 degrees, continuing upward into the mid-60s Tuesday and approaching 69 to near 70 degrees by Wednesday.
Forecasters say the warming will be gradual, driven by a shift toward more stable weather and increasing sunshine across southern Nevada. Overnight lows will also trend milder, though cooler mornings are still expected early in the period.
The warming pattern is not limited to Las Vegas. Nearby communities are expected to see similar trends, with Pahrump warming from the mid-50s Saturday to the low 70s by midweek, while Kingman, Arizona, climbs from near 50 degrees Saturday to the upper 60s by Wednesday. Bishop, California, is forecast to warm from the low 50s into the mid-60s over the same period.
No hazardous weather is expected during this warming stretch, and dry conditions are forecast to persist. The National Weather Service notes that the above-normal temperatures may be noticeable during afternoon hours, especially for outdoor activities.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to remain mindful of cooler mornings and evenings, particularly in desert and valley locations where temperature swings can be more pronounced.
This forecast may be especially relevant for outdoor workers, hikers, and weekend visitors, as the warmer afternoons could support increased activity across the Las Vegas Valley.
The National Weather Service advises continuing to monitor local forecasts for updates as temperatures peak midweek and conditions evolve later in the week.
