Las Vegas, NV – Temperatures across southern Nevada are set to climb through midweek before a tropical system brings a shift in weather patterns, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Las Vegas.

Forecasters said Monday that Tropical System Priscilla is expected to push moisture into the region by late week, increasing rain chances and dropping temperatures heading into the weekend.

According to the NWS weekly outlook, high temperatures in Las Vegas are forecast to reach 89°F on Wednesday, with cooler air settling in by Friday and highs falling into the mid-70s by Sunday. Areas such as Kingman, Laughlin, and Lake Havasu City are also expected to see highs near 90°F midweek, followed by increased precipitation chances ranging from 40% to 55% late Friday into Saturday.

The weather service noted that conditions will remain dry through at least Wednesday, with rain most likely to develop Friday through Sunday. Travelers and outdoor event planners are advised to monitor updated forecasts as the tropical moisture approaches, potentially impacting driving conditions and outdoor visibility.

This late-week pattern will bring some much-needed moisture after a stretch of warm, dry conditions across southern Nevada and parts of southeastern California.
