LAS VEGAS — Major retailers in Las Vegas have released their official store hours for Christmas week, helping shoppers plan ahead.
Major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy are gearing up to serve thousands of shoppers this holiday season by extending their hours. But those looking for last-minute gifts should pay close attention to Christmas closures.
Walmart is open Monday to Sunday from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. but will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025. The store will be open on Christmas Eve from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Target will also have extended holiday hours from Nov. 29 through Dec. 23, where stores will be open from 7 a.m. until midnight. The retailer will be closed on Christmas Day, but will stay open later than Walmart on Christmas Eve, and will only close its doors at 8 p.m. Shoppers can continue to order online at Target.com or use the Target app for Drive Up, Order Pickup, or delivery after the holiday.
While Best Buy has not released its official holiday hours, in previous years, the stores have been open on Christmas Eve but closed on Christmas Day. Buying groceries can be tricky on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day because of store closures, so shoppers are encouraged to buy essentials early.
