Larimer County, CO – Two people were arrested early Sunday morning after deputies say they reached speeds up to 150 mph while eluding law enforcement across multiple counties and even crossing state lines.

According to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, the pursuit began just before midnight on November 10 when deputies attempted to stop a vehicle speeding on I-25 near Wellington. The driver allegedly refused to stop, continuing north into Wyoming before returning to Colorado and exiting near Carr, where the car’s headlights were turned off.

Deputies tracked the vehicle for roughly 45 minutes, losing sight of it several times as it sped through rural areas. At 12:45 a.m., deputies found the car parked near Weld County Roads 15 and 116. A female passenger was located inside and arrested on multiple charges, including obstruction, conspiracy to commit a felony, false reporting, and prohibited use of a weapon after a handgun was discovered in the vehicle.

A drone team from the Weld County Sheriff’s Office later found the driver hiding nearby. He was taken into custody and booked on charges including DUI, felony eluding, and prohibited use of a weapon.

Officials thanked the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, Wyoming State Patrol, and Laramie County Sheriff’s Office for their help during the multi-jurisdictional pursuit.
