Fort Collins, CO – A man was arrested early Tuesday morning after an alleged burglary in Fort Collins, following a multi-agency police search involving drone and K9 units.
According to Fort Collins Police Services, officers responded around 5:01 a.m. on November 18, 2025, to reports of a burglary in progress on the 2000 block of Shandy Street. When officers arrived, the suspect had already fled the scene.
Assisted by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office and its K9 and drone teams, officers tracked the suspect to a residence near Collins Aire Trailer Park on 401 N. Timberline Road. The man was located and fled again on foot before being taken into custody without further incident.
Authorities identified the suspect as Nicholas Wilcoxon (DOB 04/17/2004). He was booked into the Larimer County Jail on multiple charges, including robbery, burglary, theft from burglary, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and resisting arrest, according to police.
