Eugene, OR – A 26-year-old Eugene woman was arrested early Friday morning following an alleged assault at an apartment complex in the River Road area, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded around 2 a.m. Friday to a report of an assault in progress at an apartment complex on Briarcliff Drive. Deputies responded code three with lights and sirens due to the severity of the call.
When deputies arrived, the suspect—identified as Natalie Mary Stuber, 26, of Eugene—was reportedly sitting inside a vehicle in the parking lot preparing to leave the area. One of the victims was outside the apartment, while another victim was hiding from the suspect, authorities said.
Deputies were able to safely detain Stuber at the scene and make contact with the victims. After further investigation, Stuber was arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail on multiple charges.
According to investigators, Stuber was booked on Burglary in the First Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Fourth Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Theft in the Second Degree. All allegations remain under investigation.
The sheriff’s office also noted that the deputies who responded were already past the end of their scheduled shifts. Due to limited staffing and other calls being handled throughout Lane County, the deputies stayed on overtime to manage the incident.
The case remains active under LCSO Case #25-6119, and additional details may be released as the investigation continues.
Anyone with further information related to the incident is encouraged to contact the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
