Lake Geneva, WI – The City of Lake Geneva Police Department is joining forces with the Wilderness Episcopal Church in Elkhorn for the annual Christmas for the Kids donation drive, bringing holiday joy to families in need across Walworth County.

The church has organized the program for 19 years, providing gifts and essential items for families receiving assistance through the county’s Department of Health and Human Services. This year, residents can contribute by donating new, unwrapped items such as socks, pajamas, mittens, board games, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, and gift cards.

Food donations for holiday meal baskets are also welcome, including canned goods, pasta, peanut butter, pancake mix, and grocery gift cards for perishable items.

A donation bin is available in the lobby of the Lake Geneva Police Department for easy drop-offs. Items must be unwrapped and submitted by Tuesday, November 18, 2025, to ensure distribution ahead of the holidays.

Organizers hope the community’s generosity will help make the season brighter for dozens of local families.
