Lake Geneva, WI – The countdown to candy is on as Lake Geneva prepares for its annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat event this Sunday, October 26, from 3–6 p.m.
According to the City of Lake Geneva Police Department, officers will be on patrol throughout neighborhoods to help ensure a safe and enjoyable evening for all trick-or-treaters.
Police are reminding families to keep safety top of mind this weekend. Officials advise using sidewalks and crosswalks, adding reflective tape or glow sticks to costumes, and only visiting homes with porch lights on. Parents are also encouraged to inspect all candy before children dig in.
The department’s message aims to help children and families enjoy the festivities while avoiding common hazards. “Have fun, stay safe, and enjoy a sweet Halloween in Lake Geneva!” the post concluded.
The city’s event is expected to draw large crowds as residents celebrate the spooky season with costumes, candy, and community spirit.
