Cedar Lake, IN – The Cedar Lake Police Department has officially kicked off its 2025 Toys for Tots campaign, inviting residents to drop off donations at Cedar Lake Town Hall now through December 5, 2025.

According to police, the donation box is located in the Town Hall lobby at 7408 Constitution Avenue, across the hallway from the public restrooms. Donations can be made Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Organizers are requesting new, unwrapped toys, games, books, bikes, sports equipment, and arts or craft items. Gift cards are not accepted. Officials note that donations for children ages 9 to 16 are especially needed this season, as that age group is often underrepresented in gift collections.

The annual Toys for Tots initiative, supported by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, helps provide holiday gifts to children and families in need across the community. Cedar Lake Police have participated in the program for several years, calling it a meaningful way to connect with residents and support local youth during the holidays.

Residents are encouraged to drop off items early to ensure timely distribution to families before Christmas.
