Beach Park, IL – In a display of skilled law enforcement teamwork, a Lake County Sheriff’s K9 unit successfully tracked and apprehended a burglary suspect Tuesday night. 

According to the Lake County IL Sheriff’s Office, the suspect fled on foot upon encountering a deputy but was subsequently cornered after a calculated pursuit through a residential area. The pivotal moment came when K9 Danno, alongside Deputy Martini, located the suspect hiding at the door of a home, leading to an immediate surrender. The coordinated effort underscores the vital role of K9 units in maintaining public safety.
