Deputies reported that on September 7, 2025, they and a K9 unit followed a rental vehicle linked to a known drug residence. After developing probable cause, deputies stopped the car and allegedly recovered about 25 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana packaged for sale, cocaine, THC wax, and an unidentified powder believed to be fentanyl, pending testing.

According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the passenger also had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a firearm charge.

Authorities said Dayna Rosado was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine over 14 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a controlled substance. Rolando Velasquez was arrested on charges including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, attempting to flee, and multiple license violations.

Both suspects were taken to the Lake County Jail without incident.
