Lafayette Shooting Leaves One Dead, Three Injured at Local Laundry

Lafayette, IN – A fatal shooting at Lafayette Laundry on South St. left one man dead and three others injured Thursday evening.

Lafayette Police arrived around 7:41 p.m. to find four individuals with gunshot wounds. Authorities confirmed the shooter, a man from Lincoln, Nebraska, is among the injured. He remains in critical condition with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while another man and a woman are recovering in stable condition.

According to the Lafayette Police Department, all involved parties have been identified, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased victim.

The investigation involves collaboration with Lincoln, Nebraska authorities, the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office, and Indiana State Police. Detectives urge anyone with relevant information to contact them.
