According to Deputy John Roby Jr., who led the on-scene investigation, the driver—identified as 75-year-old Terry A. Churchill of Westville—was the only occupant of the vehicle. Churchill was transported from the scene by ground and later pronounced deceased at an area hospital, the department confirmed.
