Kokomo, IN – Kokomo police are asking for the public’s help locating a 16-year-old who was reported as a juvenile runaway earlier this year.
According to the Kokomo Police Department, Nevaeh E. McKinney, 16, was reported as a juvenile runaway May 30. Police issued a public request for information regarding her whereabouts.
Authorities did not provide additional details in the notice about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, where she was last seen or what clothing she may have been wearing.
Anyone with information that could help investigators locate McKinney is asked to contact Detective Sgt. Drew J. Wallsmith at 765-456-7388.
Information can also be provided through the Howard County Communications Center at 765-457-1105 or the Kokomo Police Department Hotline at 765-456-7017.
Police said anonymous tips can be submitted through the Kokomo Police Department’s mobile app. Tips can also be sent by text message by texting TIPKPD, followed by a space and the information, to 847411.
Authorities did not indicate in the public notice that foul play was suspected.
The department’s request for assistance is associated with case KPD-26-02360.
Anyone who sees the missing teen or believes they know her current location should contact law enforcement and provide investigators with as much relevant information as possible.
The Kokomo Police Department continues to seek information that could assist in locating the 16-year-old.
