Knox County Deputies Seize Over 750 Grams of Cocaine, Fentanyl, and $25K in Cash

Knoxville, TN – Deputies with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested a suspect early Tuesday morning following the execution of a search warrant that led to the recovery of large quantities of drugs, cash, and a firearm.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the operation occurred in the 2400 block of Linden Avenue during the early morning hours of December 2, 2025. Deputies took Thomas Fletcher into custody at the scene without incident.

The search reportedly uncovered more than 750 grams of cocaine, over an ounce of fentanyl, several pounds of marijuana, multiple types of opioid pills, and approximately $25,000 in suspected drug proceeds. Deputies also seized a handgun and additional evidence related to narcotics distribution.

Authorities said Fletcher has been charged with:
• Possession with intent to distribute cocaine
• Possession with intent to distribute fentanyl
• Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
• Possession of a firearm by a violent felon
• Possession of ammunition by a violent felon
• Possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent felony

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit continues to investigate the case and has not released further details about the ongoing investigation.

Officials emphasized that large-scale narcotics seizures such as this one are part of the department’s continued effort to combat the spread of fentanyl and other dangerous drugs in East Tennessee communities.

Fletcher remains in custody pending formal charges and court proceedings.
