Kern County, CA – Deputies with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people after an early-morning stabbing tied to a fight at the Hard Rock Casino on Garone Farm Road, authorities said.

According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, deputies assigned to the Tejon Substation were dispatched at approximately 1:41 a.m. Saturday following reports of multiple subjects fighting at the casino. While responding, deputies received updated information indicating that a stabbing had occurred.

When deputies arrived, they located a victim suffering from stab wounds. Authorities said the suspects had already fled the scene. The victim sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Deputies immediately began an investigation.

In the hours that followed, investigators executed two search warrants at residences in Shafter, located in the 300 block of Walnut Street and the 200 block of West Tulare Avenue, according to sheriff’s officials.

As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested Miguel Valladolid, 40, Juan Cueto, 37, and Christina Cueto, 36, without incident.

Authorities said Valladolid was booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy. Juan Cueto and Christina Cueto were each booked on conspiracy charges. All charges are allegations, and the case remains under investigation.
