A gradual cooldown is expected by the weekend, with highs dipping into the low 50s. Overnight temperatures will stay in the 40s before dropping into the upper 30s by Saturday night.
River levels along the Green and Ohio Rivers will continue to recede, with most areas returning below flood stage by the weekend. The warm and dry conditions will help improve lingering flood concerns.
