According to the National Weather Service in Louisville, a 40% chance of showersbegins Thursday afternoon before increasing to 100% overnight. Stronger wind gusts and potential ponding on roads could impact the Friday morning commute, especially along I-65 and I-264.

Friday will see lingering rain, but showers should clear by the afternoon as temperatures climb into the low 60s. The weekend will bring cooler but drier conditions, with highs in the mid-40s and mostly sunny skies.
