According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, a light rain and snow mix may develop early today with morning lows between 39°F and 44°F. Any precipitation will clear quickly, giving way to improving conditions and highs reaching 57°F to 67°F by the afternoon.
The warming trend accelerates Thursday as skies turn partly sunny and highs climb into the 65°F to 79°F range across western Kentucky, including Paducah, Mayfield, and Murray. By Friday, dry air fully takes hold, pushing temperatures between 72°F and 81°F with no travel impacts expected along I-24 and U.S. Route 60.
Saturday brings the peak of the warm stretch, with highs reaching 75°F to 84°F under sunny skies. Overnight lows also rise steadily into the mid-50s, reducing frost concerns and signaling a clear shift toward springlike conditions.
