Paducah, KY – The National Weather Service in Paducah reports that Thanksgiving Day will be sunny but chilly, followed by an active weather pattern returning late Friday night through early next week.
Highs on Thanksgiving will reach the lower to mid-40s with morning lows dipping into the upper 20s and 30s. Winds from the northwest will remain steady at 8–12 mph, with occasional gusts up to 20 mph.
By Friday night, conditions will turn unsettled. Rain will develop across the region and may briefly mix with light snow or sleet before transitioning to all rain by Saturday morning.
Rainfall totals of 1.5 to 3.5 inches are expected through next Tuesday, potentially leading to localized flooding in low-lying areas. Travelers returning from Thanksgiving plans should prepare for wet and slow road conditions late this weekend.
