Paducah, KY – Dry and pleasant weather will continue into Sunday across western Kentucky, southern Illinois, southeast Missouri, and northwest Tennessee, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s under sunny skies. Conditions begin to change Monday as clouds increase and rain chances build through the afternoon and evening.

According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, showers will expand Monday night into Tuesday morning as a system moves across the region. Highs Tuesday rise into the mid-to-upper 60s, but a cold front sweeping through later in the day will bring a sharp drop in temperatures.

By Wednesday, skies turn mostly sunny but cooler, with highs only in the upper 40s to low 50s. Lows Wednesday night dip into the upper 20s to lower 30s, setting the stage for a chilly Thanksgiving morning.

Thanksgiving Day looks dry and mostly sunny across the four-state region, with highs in the low-to-mid 40s in southern Illinois and mid-to-upper 40s to near 50 across western Kentucky and southeast Missouri. Light winds and clear skies will dominate, making for a crisp holiday ideal for travel and outdoor gatherings.

The holiday will feature some of the coolest conditions of the week, but meteorologists expect a quiet and travel-friendly forecast across most of the lower Ohio Valley.
