Monday climbs another degree to 97. Tuesday and Wednesday both reach 99 degrees, producing four consecutive days between 96 and 99.
The warm nights matter, too. Lows climb from 68 tonight to 73 Sunday night, then 75 Monday night and 76 Tuesday night.
That leaves less nighttime relief for homes without reliable air conditioning.
