According to the US National Weather Service in Louisville, temperatures will gradually warm today into Sunday, potentially reaching the mid-90s with heat index values exceeding 100. Today, expect mostly sunny skies with isolated PM showers or storms, with highs ranging from 87°F to 93°F and lows between 67°F and 74°F. Tonight will be mostly clear.

Saturday’s forecast calls for sunny, very warm, and muggy conditions, with highs from 89°F to 95°F and nighttime lows from 68°F to 75°F. Sunday will continue the trend with sunny, hot, and humid weather, and temperatures ranging from 92°F to 97°F.

The extended forecast shows temperatures staying high into next week, with highs in the low to mid-90s. Louisville is currently experiencing moderate air quality, with an air quality index of 69, similar to the previous day.
