Paducah, KY – A tornado watch remains in effect until 11 p.m. CDT Sunday for portions of western Kentucky and eastern Arkansas as severe weather moves through the region.

According to the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center, Tornado Watch 60 includes 14 counties in Kentucky and seven in Arkansas. In Arkansas, the watch covers Crittenden, Cross, Lee, Mississippi, Phillips, Poinsett, and St. Francis counties.

The affected areas may experience conditions favorable for tornadoes, damaging winds up to 70 mph, and large hail through late Sunday evening. Residents are urged to stay weather-aware, review emergency plans, and prepare to take shelter if warnings are issued.
