According to the Delaware State Police, members of the Kent County Drug Unit executed search warrants on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at three homes located in the 60, 70, and 100 blocks of Vanessa Drive. The warrants followed an investigation into alleged illegal narcotics distribution tied to Neal Barnes, 39, Anthony James, 52, and Kevin Walker, 51, all of Dover.
Police say all three suspects were detained without incident inside their residences. Authorities also confirmed a child was present at Walker’s home during the search.
During the searches, detectives allegedly seized a significant quantity of drugs, firearms, and cash. Items recovered across the three homes included cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, ecstasy pills, prescription medications, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, and more than $2,400 in suspected drug proceeds. Two handguns and ammunition were also recovered from one residence, according to police.
Barnes was charged with multiple felony offenses, including possession with intent to distribute, firearm possession by a person prohibited, and drug paraphernalia offenses. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $57,000 cash bond.
James faces several felony drug charges, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 possession and intent to distribute counts, and was committed on a $146,000 cash bond.
Walker was charged with multiple felony drug offenses, including counts involving counterfeit or controlled substances, as well as endangering the welfare of a child. He was committed on a $39,500 secured bond.
