Wichita, KS – Temperatures will dip across Wichita this weekend as a cold front moves through southeast Kansas. Following a warm-up into the mid-40s today, cooler air will push in Saturday, bringing highs in the 30s and low 40s.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will remain sunny with a high near 44 degrees. Winds will shift south-southwest at 6 to 11 mph, making outdoor activities manageable. However, lows tonight will plunge to 23 degrees under mostly clear skies.

Saturday brings partly sunny skies with highs near 38 degrees and gusty winds from the north-northeast up to 13 mph. Those venturing outdoors should bundle up as wind chills will make it feel colder. Saturday night’s low is forecast to drop to 24 degrees.

Sunday’s high will hover near 36 degrees with more sunshine but cooler air sticking around. Nighttime temperatures will drop to 22 degrees. Looking ahead, Wichita will warm slightly Monday and Tuesday, with highs reaching 47 and 51 degrees respectively.
