Rain chances today vary, with cities like Wichita and Winfield facing an 80% chance of rain, while areas like Topeka and Salina have much lower chances of rainfall.
As for the upcoming week, the rain will taper off early Sunday, and by Monday, a gradual warm-up will begin. High temperatures will rise from the low 60s on Monday to the upper 70s by Thursday. Residents are encouraged to stay aware of any localized flooding or slick roads as they drive through the continuing rain.
