Wichita, KS – Heavy fog will impact travel in Kansas tonight, but the first weekend of February brings sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures.
The National Weather Service warns of dense fog until 3 AM Saturday, limiting visibility across central and south-central Kansas. Motorists should drive slowly and use low-beam headlights.
By Saturday, conditions improve with highs reaching 62°F under sunny skies. Sunday will be slightly warmer at 64°F, making for a mild start to February.
Next week remains mostly clear and dry, with highs in the 50s and 60s. After tonight, no hazardous weather is expected.
