Wichita, KS – Residents across Kansas should prepare for an extended stretch of warm and dry weather, with temperatures climbing into the 90s by midweek.

According to the US National Weather Service in Wichita, the upcoming weather pattern will feature consistently sunny skies and rising temperatures through late next week. On Sunday, temperatures are forecasted to reach between 78 and 82 degrees, with overnight lows in the low 50s.

The heat will intensify as the week progresses. Monday will bring highs up to 84 degrees, and by Wednesday, temperatures could peak between 88 and 93 degrees. Overnight lows will remain mild, ranging from the mid-50s to mid-60s throughout the week.

A slight change is expected by Thursday, when partly cloudy skies may bring some relief, though highs will still range from 83 to 87 degrees.
