Kansas City, MO – The National Weather Service in Kansas City is tracking dense fog and light rain moving into the region late Sunday night and through Monday, followed by a cooler, blustery pattern for the latter half of the week.

Forecasters say fog could redevelop overnight, reducing visibility early Monday morning. Rain showers will spread across the area through Monday and continue into Monday night, with totals between 0.1 and 0.5 inches expected.

Mild weather will linger through Tuesday, but below-normal temperatures are expected to arrive Wednesday, lasting through Thanksgiving and next weekend. Highs will generally stay in the upper 30s to mid-40s, with a chance for light wintry precipitation across northern Missouri Friday into Saturday.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution in foggy conditions and plan for slower travel Monday morning.
