Kansas City, Missouri – Warmer temperatures are expected across the Kansas City region beginning Thursday, with a mild pattern continuing into early next week, according to the National Weather Service.
In a community weather update posted Wednesday afternoon, the National Weather Service said many locations will see high temperatures in the 50s, with some areas reaching the low 60s by early next week. Weather conditions are expected to remain generally quiet during this period.
Forecast data shared by the agency shows Kansas City highs rising from the low 50s Thursday into the upper 50s and low 60s by the weekend and early next week. Similar warming trends are expected across surrounding communities, including Clinton, St. Joseph, Lee’s Summit, Olathe, and Sedalia.
The National Weather Service also noted low chances of rain, estimated at 15 to 30 percent, beginning next Tuesday across the forecast area. No watches or advisories were issued with the update.
The warmer stretch follows a colder period across the region and is expected to provide more seasonable conditions for late winter.
