Kansas City, MO – Western Missouri is expected to experience September-like temperatures and a chance of thunderstorms through Tuesday. Highs will range from the upper 70s to lower 80s, while lows will fall between the mid-50s and mid-60s.

According to the US National Weather Service in Kansas City, scattered showers and thunderstorms will increase Saturday and persist through early next week. However, severe weather is not anticipated. The weekend forecast shows temperatures peaking at 80 degrees on Saturday and 81 degrees on Sunday, with a 40% chance of rain.

Monday’s forecast predicts a high of 83 degrees, with a 35% chance of scattered showers. On Tuesday, temperatures will rise slightly to 85 degrees, also with a 35% chance of thunderstorms. By Wednesday, the skies will clear, and temperatures will reach a high of 87 degrees.

Residents can expect pleasant weather for the latter half of the week, with sunny skies and temperatures climbing into the upper 80s by Thursday and Friday. The air quality index remains favorable at 42, indicating good air quality conditions.
