Kankakee’s French Heritage Museum Reopens June 1st

Kankakee, IL – The French Heritage Museum at The Stone Barn will open its doors to visitors on June 1st.

According to the museum’s announcement, the 2024 season will feature open hours every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The museum celebrates the rich French heritage and historical significance of the Kankakee area.

Visitors can explore exhibits showcasing artifacts, documents, and photographs that highlight the contributions of French settlers to the region. This opening marks an important cultural event for the community, offering educational and engaging experiences for all ages.
