Kankakee, IL – Two women were arrested after allegedly pointing guns at individuals on S. Lincoln Avenue.
According to the City of Kankakee Police Department, officers responded to a weapons call around 9:19 PM on Wednesday. The victims reported that a group of females aimed guns at them before entering a nearby house. Officers encountered three women exiting the residence and identified Peggy Woodard, 65, and Dominique Kimpel, 35, as the alleged assailants.
A BB gun and a 9MM handgun were recovered during the investigation. Both Woodard and Kimpel were charged with aggravated assault and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact detectives at 815-933-0426.
