KANKAKEE, IL – A Kankakee man finds himself in a legal quagmire as he faces multiple alleged drug charges and a slew of outstanding warrants, prompting his arrest during the early hours of a Saturday morning.

Sean J. Jordan, a 48-year-old resident of Kankakee, was apprehended by officers of the Kankakee City Police, stemming from an unresolved warrant related to allegations of Meth Delivery drug charges dating back to June. This arrest has added to Jordan’s extensive legal history, a tapestry woven with a series of encounters with the law over the years.

The litany of charges against Jordan is substantial, with allegations ranging from possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia to resisting arrest. The accusations have led to bonds totaling a staggering $210,000.00, comprised of a commanding $200,000.00 warrant from Kankakee County and an ancillary $10,000.00 warrant from neighboring Iroquois County.

Jordan’s journey through the criminal justice system has been a tumultuous one, spanning decades of legal entanglements. His recent tribulations commenced with a KAMEG arrest on June 27, 2023, which triggered a cascade of events culminating in an arrest warrant. A pivotal turning point occurred on July 24, 2023, marked by a case hearing where a witness emerged, adding gravitas to the proceedings. This prompted the court to ascertain probable cause and subsequently issue the $200,000.00 bond, with a 10% payment stipulation.

The mosaic of Jordan’s legal infractions is further illuminated by additional charges, including driving on a revoked license, domestic battery inflicting bodily harm, and criminal property damage of a value below $500.
