Kankakee, IL – A 53-year-old woman was found deceased early Thursday morning in Kankakee, sparking an investigation by local authorities.
According to Kankakee City Police, they responded to a call at approximately 9 AM in the 1200 block of S. Washington Ave., where the woman was discovered unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Initial evidence collected by investigators suggests a likely overdose as the cause.
