Kankakee, IL – Authorities are investigating after a man’s body was discovered in a storage unit on Tuesday evening.
According to Kankakee City detectives, a witness called in the discovery at approximately 5:35 p.m. in the 100 block of Krause Lane. The deceased, a 48-year-old male, has been identified, but his name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
No foul play is suspected at this time. The body has been transferred to the Kankakee County Coroner’s Office for further investigation.
