Kankakee, IL – Families in Kankakee School District 111 are being reminded to turn in all updated student immunization and physical records by Tuesday, October 15, in compliance with Illinois State Law.

According to a notice from the district, students who have not submitted the required documents will not be permitted to attend school beginning that day. The district emphasized that the rule ensures both compliance and student safety.

The announcement urges parents and guardians to act quickly to prevent any disruption to their child’s education. “It is important to ensure that all necessary documents are provided by this date to avoid any disruption,” the district said in its statement.

Illinois law mandates that all students maintain up-to-date immunizations and physicals as part of state health requirements for public schools.

District officials thanked families for their cooperation in maintaining “a safe and healthy school environment.”

For more information, parents can contact their child’s school directly or visit the Kankakee School District 111 website for submission details.
