Kankakee, IL – The Kankakee County Museum will celebrate creativity and community spirit with the 15th Annual Artisan Faire on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 801 S. 8th Avenue in Kankakee.
According to event organizers, the faire will feature a curated mix of handmade treasures crafted by local artists and makers — from cozy knitwear and one-of-a-kind jewelry to rustic home décor and gourmet treats. The event offers residents an early start to holiday shopping while supporting small businesses and local artisans.
Admission is free, and visitors are encouraged to bring family and friends for a day of browsing, shopping, and connecting with creators from across Kankakee County and surrounding communities.
The Kankakee County Museum hosts the annual faire as part of its ongoing effort to promote local talent and cultural engagement. Organizers say the event has become a regional favorite, drawing hundreds each year to shop locally ahead of the holiday season.
