Kankakee County, IL – Teens & Grief Workshop to Offer Support for Grieving Youth in Bourbonnais

The UpliftedCare Community Grief Center in Bourbonnais will host a Teens & Grief Workshop on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. The free workshop, designed for teens ages 13-17, aims to help participants manage the strong emotions often associated with grief.

According to UpliftedCare, grieving teens may hide emotions like anger, guilt, fear, and sadness, leading to unexpected emotional outbursts. The workshop will teach coping skills and foster peer connections. All materials and light refreshments will be provided. Registration is required.
