Kankakee, IL — Riverside Healthcare has announced the addition of Dr. Bakht Siddiqui to its team of child and adolescent psychiatrists, expanding mental health services for families in the region.

According to Riverside, Dr. Siddiqui is now accepting new patients at Riverside Medical Group – Psychiatric Specialists, located at 400 S. Kennedy Drive, Suite 300, in Bradley.

Dr. Siddiqui earned his bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Memorial University of Newfoundland before completing his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He went on to complete a psychiatry residency at Nuvance Health in Carmel, N.Y., and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.

He is board certified in psychiatry and neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Riverside officials said his expertise will help meet the growing demand for youth mental health services in Kankakee and surrounding communities.
