Kankakee County, IL – Kankakee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Bonfield home Thursday afternoon after the owner reported gunfire damage.
According to reports, the homeowner was present when a bullet entered the backside of the house, passed through a wall, and landed in the living room. Deputies later recovered the bullet and found a hole in the back of the home.
The incident has prompted an investigation by authorities.
