St. Charles, IL – Authorities are warning of significant delays following a large brush fire along Route 38 in St. Charles. The St. Charles Fire Department, along with other local agencies, is working to contain the fire.
According to the Kane County Sheriff’s Office, Route 38 is currently closed between La Fox Road and Peck Road. Additionally, Campton Hills Road has been shut down between Happy Hills Road and West Mary Lane due to the ongoing incident.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. Authorities will provide updates as they become available.
