Elburn, IL – A Chicago man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on I-88 near Dauberman Road in Elburn for allegedly possessing 100 grams of Fentanyl.
According to the Kane County Special Investigation Unit, Lanell Craft, 41, was stopped around 2:25 p.m. after his silver Nissan SUV exhibited several lane violations. Authorities reportedly discovered that Craft’s driver’s license had been revoked for DUI, and he had a prior conviction for the manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. During a search of the vehicle, detectives reportedly found 100 grams of Fentanyl concealed in a large tote hidden under clothing.
Craft, who resides in the 0 block of W. 110th Street, Chicago, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class X felony.
