Kane County, IL – A Fox River Grove man is facing multiple felony charges after prosecutors allege he solicited and exploited two minors online in Kane County.

According to Kane County State’s Attorney Jamie L. Mosser, Dustin J. Dunn has been charged with 20 counts, including soliciting child sexual abuse material video (five counts), soliciting child sexual abuse material photographs (one count), possession of child sexual abuse material video (three counts), possession of child sexual abuse material photographs (five counts), indecent solicitation of a child (two counts), solicitation to meet a child (one count), and sexual exploitation of a child (four counts).

Prosecutors allege that between Sept. 17, 2025, and Jan. 28, 2026, Dunn used a social media application on multiple occasions to request explicit videos and photographs from two minors he knew were under 18. On separate occasions, he allegedly exposed himself during live video chats and solicited the minors to undress and perform sexual acts on camera. Authorities further allege he sent messages to each minor arranging to meet for the purpose of sexual activity.

All alleged conduct occurred in Kane County, according to the State’s Attorney’s Office.

Dunn is being held in the Kane County jail. His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday, March 6, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 319 of the Kane County Judicial Center for a pretrial detention hearing.

The charges are not evidence of guilt. Dunn is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
