Yorkville, IL – A juvenile male student from Yorkville Christian High School was arrested Thursday following a threat of violence. Police were alerted by school staff and located the student at his home.
Yorkville Police confirmed that the student, whose identity has not been released, will not return to the school. Investigators are still examining the evidence related to the threat.
According to the Yorkville Police Department, the arrest happened swiftly and no further threats were found. The student remains under investigation as law enforcement works closely with the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office to identify criminal charges.
