Joliet, IL – Joliet Central and Joliet West High Schools have announced their January 2025 Students of the Month, recognizing outstanding achievement and community involvement.
Joliet Central’s honorees are Madison Tangorra (Kiwanis), Mariana Hernandez (Lions Club), Alexa Encarnacion-Hernandez (Rotary), Juvelda Missamou-Batotana (NAACP), Alauna Farrey (AKA), and Yuvia Hernandez (PEF, Inc.).
Joliet West honored Daniel Markun (Kiwanis), Leandro Magat (Lions Club), Madison Moser (Rotary), Eduardo Gang (NAACP), Madyson Gant (AKA), and Hoai Anh Pham (PEF, Inc.).
According to school officials, these students were selected for their character, responsibility, and academic improvement. Each was sponsored by local civic and community organizations.
Students will be featured in school events and receive awards from their sponsoring organizations. Community members are encouraged to celebrate their success by supporting student-led initiatives and attending local school events.
