Now, attention turns to the westbound side, with closures beginning tonight. The updated schedule indicates that on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6, westbound I-80 will have one lane open from 9 p.m., leading up to a full closure from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. at Briggs Street.

Motorists are advised to use the Briggs Street exit and re-enter through the Briggs Street entrance ramp during these hours. This phase is part of the ongoing reconstruction of the bridge, set to continue through the fall.
