Construction is expected to begin in September, with the restaurant scheduled to open its doors in January 2025. Meanwhile, Joliet will gain its second Chick-fil-A location at 201 S. Larkin Avenue, also replacing a shuttered Steak ‘n Shake. Renovations are set to begin in April 2025, with the opening targeted for August or September of the same year. The new location will complement the existing Chick-fil-A near the Louis Joliet Mall on Plainfield Road, providing residents with another convenient spot to enjoy the chain’s well-known menu items.
