Join Naperville’s Earth Month Events: Tree Sales, Film Fest, and More

Naperville, IL – Naperville is hosting a series of events throughout April to celebrate Earth Month and promote sustainability. Activities include tree sales, recycling events, and environmental film screenings.

The Naperville Park District announced several initiatives, including an Arbor Day Tree Sale with pre-orders open until March 17. Residents can pick up trees on April 19. The Knock Knolls Nature Center will feature Earth Month exhibits from April 7-30.

On April 12, a shredding event at Centennial Beach will provide a secure way to recycle documents. Volunteers can also participate in the 34th Annual DuPage River Sweep on April 19. The One Earth Film Festival runs from April 22-28, showcasing environmental documentaries. The Morton Arboretum’s Arbor Day Plant Sale is scheduled for April 24-26.

These events offer opportunities for residents to engage in sustainability efforts. The city encourages community participation to help make a positive environmental impact.
